High Traffic Alert

Postby BongoBoy on 12 Feb 2007 21:38

...GREAT.... I have 2 days.

...the day started at such a high....I guess as always it must crash down.

...sigh.

This doesn't look good, and I'm $100 out of my pocket.

Oh well.

OK now I get it....Jeeez.

Once I got into the site it says that the Toronto tickets go on sale to the public Feb-17th and members there can buy on Feb-14th.

Whew!

Holy stress nightmares.

Cool site, I got to watch it again. Too bad you can't have a nice DVD copy.

I hope the MP3 of it works tonight.

I think everything might be OK...I think.
Cheers - what a day!

FYI, as of now it seems traffic has slowed down enough so that everything works but the message boards.

As for presale system, it still goes through ticket bastard so make sure you have your account info updated with them. I'm sure between today and Wednesday they will put this in a more visible location, but as of now presale procedures description is buried about halfway down the presale list of FAQs. (Under help)

Hope this helps!

Can't get it to work

Think they are still building it

Presales work like this with Ultrastar

you have to log in and when the sale goes live you have to click a link which gives you you passcode then you click through to ticketmaster.

You do not get the passcode before the sale goes live

Hope that helps

I signed up, too, but someone already got my screen name so I registered as "pgbella".

I just finally was able to check out most of the site, except for the message boards. Still can't get on that.

o.k. let me get this straight. I can only get my pass code the day of the pre-sale then use on the ticketmaster website.
Just want to make sure I don't F**k this up.

That is how I understand it Maninasuitcase.

You'll get a password on Feb-14th and then use it on Ticketmaster before the big rush is on.

I did that for Bob Dylan (but it was free)

It worked well though!

It will be fun...and it'll be warm by then !

Cheers!

You even need a valid credit card to sign up for the "free" membership.... and because mine is at its limit at the moment, it won't accept it... even for a "free" membership... sheesh...

I'm so sad. The Police aren't playing in Minneapolis or Chicago so I won't be able to go to their concert. I simply can't afford to. Everywhere else is too far away.

for my Dylan tickets here in Toronto, I got good mid seats. I kinda like the sound better around midway. If it's too close it's sometimes kinda painful!

Anyway, they are using the same ticket password system so hopefully you'll have a good choice. Don't worry, "Toronto Rocks" and The Police know it, you'll be there !. Yea!

Now we have another deadline to stress over...tickets,tickets.....yea!.

I'm gonna go see if I can download todays event as an audio MP3.

Hope it works but I want that on DVD! Somehow!
Cheers.

we should gather people for a pre police concert party before the Toronto show.
Hey Bongoboy, did you see the starting price for auction seating on ticketmaster? I'm almost tempted to try that.
