What are you Listening to ..RIGHT NOW!!!
RD: I actually kind of love Yankovic, although I think his output is a little spotty (not a big fan of the polka medleys).

Eye in the Sky?! What are you trying to do, woman? That song is prime earworm material!! (runs off stage left, fingers stuffed in ears)
I don't dislike Yankovic. I just don't want to listen to his songs over and over!

I am so sorry about the earworm! I promise I won't do it, again!

Up next -- "The Princess Bride Soundtrack" by Mark Knopfler.

I'm listening to "Glam Revolution" which I purchased at my neighborhood Starbucks this morning. When I saw it had Queen's "Killer Queen" and Bryan Ferry's "Slave To Love" AND Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz" I had to buy it. Right now I'm listening to "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop, which I never really considered "Glam-Rock" since it came out in 1990 but I really like the song.

I'd run right out and buy that, but I'm betting I've already got a lot of the tracks on it (check out 'Stranded'-era Roxy Music if you like solo Bryan Ferry.)

On topic: Sami Ali, "Ashshimtini"

(Lucky I bought some cool Rough Trade North African mix CDs a month or two ago, since I didn't have much luck finding Arabic music in situ that wasn't boring techno)

Led Zeppelin II, one my favorite all time albums not by the Police (or members thereof) or the Beatles (or members thereof)

I haven't seen the whole thread, but the Weird Al got me laughing. I'm now in the mood for some King Of Suede. Oh, and the polka medley with Every Breath and the hilarious heavy breathing. I crack myself up.

Fischer Z - Going Deaf For A Living
Possibly one of THE most underrated New Wave bands in the set.
