Listening ad nauseum to Keane's new album, which I am absolutely in love with (even if not quite so much as "Under the Iron Sea".)

Hubster has been on a monster earworm roll lately. Not only did he stick me with "One Night in Bangkok" for like five days, then "E-bay" by Weird Al Yankovic (truly a masterwork), he's trying to install Human League at the moment...

GAAAAH! Someone pass me the bleach...

Dive -- Gaaah! -- Doesn't even cover it. I don't get it, but my husband listens to Weird Al Yankovic, too. He loves the E-bay song, too. I think Weird Al is funny, but I only listen to it once (maybe twice) and then move on! Bry *listens* to it. Over and over.

Luckily, right now, we are spinning "Eye in the Sky" by the Alan Parsons Project. I can deal with that.

I know. I know. I always think about Austin Powers when I play this stuff!

Sorry Mad -- didn't mean to earworm you! I really have no idea what the "Spider Pig" thing is, though, so no earworm here.

Today, I am spinning "Songs from the Big Chair" by Tears for Fears.

"Spider Pig" came from _The Simpsons Movie_. Finally saw it recently, and can't get the damn thing out of my head.

Okay -- haven't seen that. Is it worth seeing? Or should I avoid the earworm?

RD: I actually kind of love Yankovic, although I think his output is a little spotty (not a big fan of the polka medleys).

Eye in the Sky?! What are you trying to do, woman? That song is prime earworm material!! (runs off stage left, fingers stuffed in ears)

You know, I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen that movie yet (Hub and I held off going to the theater, b/c we knew we'd buy the DVD). Sounds like I need to get crackin'.

Don't feel bad-- I JUST saw it, and it was only because we were on vacation and it was there. Have wanted to -- just haven't had the time, and it's not really a movie I'd let my kids see yet (although they've seen the "Spider Pig" bit on YouTube). It's funny. Y'all will like it. :)
