And if you do, bring your super STEWART girls to make sure you get home with your purse, coat, blackberry, and basically all yer junk intact. They can't work miracles, however, so your dignity likely will not make it back with you <grin>

I've been waiting for this anniversary to resurrect this thread. I was going to make an attempt to summarize, but there are way too many perfectly articulated, heartfelt thoughts in here. Re-enjoy this along with the other memories!

In one-year retrospect I'd add another: post and write while you are in the thick of the experience (another Thompsonesque sentiment)...the details drop out over time, even though some perspective is gained...
