I just have to say real quick before I go to bed that watching this at the Backstage Cafe tonight with the other Stewartcopeland.net and sting.com members was one of the coolest experiences in my life that I'll never forget. I cannot wait for the blogs to come that document this moment in history like we experienced tonight.

Over the past several years as disassembled bands have regrouped and toured, I never took the bait and went to concerts in which supposed legends of music were coming together to celebrate their musical legacy with their fans. The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac come to mind. As each one came through over the years, I passed seeing them and told my friends and family there is only one band I would pay a lot of money to see. I never thought THE REUNION would come about, but here we are on the eve of it. The Police are foremost the band that I associate with my childhood in the 80's. Seeing them tonight on the Grammy's and listening to them brought forth a stream of emotions and memories. Stewart, Sting and Andy I salute you and look forward to hearing your music live once again.
