Yesterday (Sataurday Feb. 10, 2007) The Police rehearsed at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Looks like you have to pay $10 (and register for an account) to see the photos larger than thumbnail size. Nothing on Kevin Mazur's site, either.

They look wonderful, and ordinarily I'd pay, but you know what? 12 or so more hours and I'll be looking at the real thing, hopefully from the television over the bar at the Backstage Cafe. And then there's tomorrow. (faints)

Still can't quite believe it's happening. I'll never be able to thank Gio and Stewart enough, so I'lll attempt to repay the kindness by taking good notes and posting photos from the Backstage and various other activities. (I don't suppose I'll luck out and the Backstage will have wireless capabilities for my laptop, but I'm going to bring it along anyway...)

Guys, that's not Stewart's old blue drumkit in the photo, is it? He mentions in the voiceover track to ES:TPIO that his son Jordan still has it...look at Stewart smiling his a$$ off in those photos. "Dude, crack a smile!"

Cool. I think the fact that Stewart has a microphone on in those photos bodes well for the classic live Police sound.
