I think it's just disgraceful how good these gentlemen look for their ages.
I was just thinking that. There are a few more wrinkles and gray hairs, but by Jove, it's still *them*...

I just spent a few minutes digging out some 20-some year old badges of mine, which unlike my old t-shirts, have not disintegrated with time. I'm going to carry them around this week, maybe not even to wear, but just to remind me of something.

Maybe a less cynical time, when rock music was performed and composed by real artists, not corporate suits. When what we didn't know wouldn't hurt us. When things seemed sweeter somehow.

You know, I might be reading more into this reunion than I ought, but it's evoking stronger emotions than I expected. Thanks again to the guys for finding a way to make this happen.

(For some reason I'm remembering some lines from one of my favorite 1980s movies, the Blues Brothers, about putting a band back together because of a mission from God...

Jake: "You were the backbone, the nerve center of a great rhythm and blues band. You can make that live, breathe and jump again."

Donald: "Jake ain't lying though. We had a band powerful enough to turn goat (pee) into gasoline.")

Hit it, boys.
Here's a smaller version of the band photo for those who don't want to download the 73 megabyte tif file:

Thanks a bunch. The other big one was so slowing down and freezing my computer.

The hot Madonna background I have is now replaced by three grown men. Is that weird?

Haha... who cares at this point. YESSSS!!! THEY'RE BACK!!
