YOU are getting kind words? Why? It's not like YOU've done anything kind to anyone around here.

Finally, this thread is also my love letter to all the Nutters who weren't able to make the show.
:D :D :D
EQ you are a total gem :D I have loved reading your 'love letter' over the past month  Seriously, a million thanks for writing it all down. For those of us who couldn't make it, it means a lot.

I heart EQ :D
What dafttart said.( Not least because I KNOW she will have loved every sentence of your story without jealousy.) Thanks so much EQ.

That tour/final gig/experience really was something. Being able to yack about it - even to people who couldn't be there - is the something else.

Truly phenomenal recount. Thank you EQ! Thank you Stewart! Thank you The Police!

I've been collecting pictures and trinkets from the show to memorialize this experience but I think this thread beats it all.

(P.S. Smudge - I'm glad you enjoyed Ray's IPA - it's so much better from the source!)

Exactly what she said. I loved every minute of reading this thread.

EQ that was truly epic, a f*in tearjerker--I only recently was able to make it through the 14+ pages (all the length justified and heaps of praise well-deserved) but what a fantastic account!! I was so lucky to get to meet and hang out with you!

I'm emotional guacamole again.

What a read.

what a write.

That is an immpressive feat my friend, terrific descriptions.

I felt the same way getting back. How many time have I uttered the Fucking phrase " No, no you don't understand"...THE POLICE ! (jerkstore).

Stewart really made this happen, getting us in there, keeping us together the best he could. What a cool guy.

The awesome Nutters are the other huge.. HUGE! part of this like you said. I'm glad you wrote it so well. Amazing people all.

I hope we are standing at a rail like that again EQ, with the chariot, or a different color chariot for some new Copelandia endeavor. If I save some money and survive this year...heh...totally Fucking worth spreading yourself so thin that light shines through your rib-cage and your wallet, that's empty except for a wicked ticket stub.

Who needs money, I got a krinkled paper flag, I got a blurry pic of me in front of the chariot (I love it!), and I got pals here that understand my endless dreaming and rough tunes, I got a CD of the 1981 Melbourne gig, and DVD's are incoming...

Fuckin A !

Thanks EQ, YOU Sir...are a real PAl. Thanks for that picture. I would have no proof without that one. Hangin with all of you is a real cherished memory for me. It was only a month ago and it's my treasured memory.

So...

Lovey Doves to everyone fluttering around all of your heads making really warm and friendly chirpy sounds. AHhhhhhh, that's better.
Bongo out.
