The best part of all this....

The best part of all this....

What I really was bummed out about when the Police broke up was that I missed the media frenzy of 1983 and later possible albums. I mean, I remember the hype of '83, but I was just beginning to be a fan so I didn't really enjoy it. I always said that part of what I missed out on - besides seeing the band live - was enjoying the hype of seeing the guys on tv and in print, etc. from the perspective of a seasoned fan. Now that it's finally happening, I'm enjoying it all so much, especially since I can share it will all of you. :D

Thank you Stewart and Gio for giving us a place to hang out.

Exactly. The tension and excitement surrounding the reunion is just wonderful. And to see the Media actually talking about "The Police" rather than "Sting and his Ex-Bandmates" makes it all the more exciting. Still can't believe it... fantastic!!!

I'm watching my Live Police DVD everyday, watching all the cool Andy videos and book excerpts of his site, Of course living off the Stewart site. AND I even ponied up money to be Stings friend at his site for any other info I could get. I can't wait...

I'm spinning Orchestralli today and thinking about how cool it would've been to see that live. Thanks to my cool penpal (who knows who he is) that hooked me up with a copy of it. ;)

i totally identify with the exitement of scanning the 'net every day for news and of wives / girlfirends/ partners getting annoyed with me constantly going on about it... i was dancing round last night playing bass and singing along to 'one world is enough (not three)' last night; demanding that she listens to stew's (incredible) drumming on the track and generally gets as exited as me......

I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

(fingers crossed that they're not lame or only in unfeasibly massive venues and that i get a bloody ticket...)
(i know they wont be lame with Our Hero at the back, but gordo is a worry...)

Your wife should meet my husband, lol. I've told him Sunday at 8:00 will be a spiritual experience, like if the Jets made it to the Superbowl, and I want to watch it in peace.

I actually have not told a soul about this reunion other than my husband, my aunt and one close friend. I don't want to jinx it! I'm sure the phone will be ringing off the hook following the show.
