You KNOW Stewart would be a blast to play RockBand with. You'd just have to make sure you put away and breakables first.

Absolutely, EQ!!! He would be a trip to play with, though he might do a piss poor job if he's flailing around like that  I fucking love it. He even wore his gloves and he hadn't even been playing the drums yet.

I think he goes nuts because he's so used to being behind the kit, when he hits that stage it's like a happy drug!

Wow! I'm just catching up to all these pictures and videos. That show was a classic. I'm sooooooo glad that I ended up going to it.
I'm suppose to be out buying a new car right now, but hell, I'll pay for the rental one another day. This stuff on the computer is just too great to walk away from right now.

I loved reading all the at-home Nutter reaction to the various texts and messages during the show. Everytime something outrageous happened, I'd turn to my daughter and say, "So-and-so is going to freak out about this!"

I could watch the goofy Elvii videos all day. Did anyone else notice Stewart taking the pigeon-toed Costello stance for a while shortly before he "sang"?

What a completely adorable goofball!

A while back, LudditeLady summed up one of the more memorable incidents of the night in her 'Midlife Crisis' thread, and its a gem:

"What’s so funny about “Peace, Love and Understanding”? I’ll tell you what’s so funny. Stewart Copeland freakin’ singing “What’s so funny about peace, love and understanding”; that’s what!"

Amen. Although I think singing should read 'singing'.

I listened to the boot a bit today and was arriving at work just at the point where we got the CHA. That was excellent.

I don't have the Elvii on video but there is a still image or two of them. Plus 51 seconds of Purple Haze which should be the next-to-last video here:

Enjoy!
