Tolerance with other people.

Freedom to read what you want.

You know The Beatles song 'Let it Be...

Wow your really demanding, and on the rude side.

>2. PLEASE keep your replies and thread topics to a reasonable length. Some of these posts are like ten paragraphs long! If you really want more people to read it, KEEP IT SHORT! I normally skip over anything longer than 1 or 2 paragraphs.

That just makes you sound lazy. If something's to long, you don't have to keep reading.

>1. If you are going to use this forum PLEASE, when you reply to a thread, PLEASE make your reply have something to do with the initial topic of the thread. It wastes alot of time reading people's personal junk which has nothing to do with the interesting thread someone may have started. I think it's a good idea to at least know when to say "when." (yes I am guilty of this)

Everyone does that once in a while, but usually it's because the topic get's a little farther away as it goes on... but it usually does tie together and make since.

Tolerance is waaay overrated.
There's the word "rude" again...
I guess you really don't know what this word can mean.

I for myself can say amen to all the points.
The reason I don't post here so much anymore is that there's so much superfluous postings.
Teenage fantasies about the way their reunion goes. And for each thought that somebody has this someone has to open three threads...

Oh, was that rude? Again?

>There's the word "rude" again...

It's more polite then others, so for things like this it's just safter to use.

>I guess you really don't know what this word can mean.

I promise you I do.

>Teenage fantasies about the way their reunion goes. And for each thought that somebody has this someone has to open three threads...
I've mentioned no fantasies on how the reunion would go (although I picture '79 era)... but since the last thread I opened was the Sting Spit one... the second part can't be referring to me.

>The reason I don't post here so much anymore is that there's so much superfluous postings
If there's not a date of venue to be answered, your not interested. That's fine, I like the info you provide.

Mrs. Gradenko
my comments were not necessarily meant for you.
I spoke in general, so I would NOT be tempted to insult certain individuals here
:)

dietmar

PS: I am interested in general discussion. But the fantasizing about setlists and venues? How cute they look(ed)? Weird philosophies about their musical relevance? I don't know. I understand the excitement. Hey, I'm excited myself. It's just showing another way.

But they were so cute (not that they're ugly now). But I understand that's "boy band" stuff... plus your a guy and would rather not discuss that anyways.

>my comments were not necessarily meant for you.

It's a comment you've made toward me in the past that made me jump on that.

>But the fantasizing about setlists and venues?

You don't have a dream set list? Come on... you know you do.

>For sure he skips himself

So true.

why shouldn't I like this :)
you're speaking the absolute truth

about the tolerance / rudeness topic:
I AM a Police officer. And you're not always getting through life by politeness and understanding.

speaking as a Police man: I'm always trying the polite way as it's best to solve problems the peaceful way. But then you have to know when this is over and you have to take action. Which means getting loud and precise or to use your body (whatever this may mean for you).

as a private person: it's much more healthy for you to let your emotions out. I always tell what I feel and that's good for my psyche. I'm trying to hide it because the words "rude" and others were thrown at me occasionally (and rightly so!) but you get the general meaning ...

oh, and didn't see any rudeness in the 1st post - all valid points in my opinion. it's his opinion - and mine. and the words were not too drastic, weren't they ?

Nah I don't think you were being "rude" (really, if I used pretty much any other word it would start an argument).

It's not his opinion that annoyed me, it's that he was being demanding about it.
