.. . not sure about the lighting tho and a nasty piece of lens flare!

... maybe Stewart should leave the photography to Andy in future?

?? You know, I was just going to write something good about the photo...in the sense that we've seen a lot of Andy's pictures, and it's a kick to see what Stewart does with the lens for a change. I'd love to see more of his work.

Well, it's probably not Stewart's fault that the photo turned out a little grainy. I guess it was the camera he used and how far away he took the shot. I'm pretty sure Stew's a genious when it comes to cameras.
Either way it's a cool picture!

perhaps the shot is purposely grainly to: 1) look cool and vintage-ish, and 2) not reveal TOO much. There are plenty of details that cannot be seen that WOULD be seen if the picture were clearer, even from the distance.

I hope everyone noticed the video camera tripods on the far left and far right of the picture. Documentary footage, perhaps?

:D you guys are way too serious! Can't you take a joke!?

I'd say the pic looks that way because it was dark, so he used flash and this revealed water droplets in the air? :D

Of course Andy would have shot it in black and white....

To be honest I have had the same problem.. sometimes when I log on at a different computer I see the posts on the news page, and when I move to another computer and log on again they have disappeared.. technical glitch i am sure.

I like the picture! I'm pretty sure it was digitally altered in photoshop to look that way.

Come on now B...we all know Stewart can't use Photoshop.

(ok, even I can't say that with a straight face... :D Although it probably took him forever to do it if he's already upgraded to the MacPro...)

Hey guys! Isn't it cool we're the only site to get a shot of that stage straight from one of the guys? Props to Stewart for sending it on.

I don't see any microphones for backup singers THANK GOD!!! Hopefully it will just be the three of them. Maybe Sting figured out during his Broken Music tour that he did NOT need backup singers!

And no keyboards either!
Sting was able to play Spirits in the Material World without keyboards last year (featuring Stewart Copeland fanatic Josh Freese on drums):

Also, dont forget that Spirits was played on 2 poliec tours without keyboards.
