I have much more but here's the video of Sting with Elvis. I can't get it to rotate, if someone wants to fix it that would be great. Can not sit in front of computer anymore tonight.

Schmaffy, you so deserved this after such a long wait. You captured the experience beautifully with your words.
Thanks everyone else for all the videos and photos. I could only sample a few of them if I want any chance of sleeping tonight. they were amazing.
See you in New York!

Believe it or not, those were all with my old 5.1 megapixel FujiFilm vs. the 10 megapixel Nikon I had got recently, thinking I'd get better concert pics. The ol' Fuji just seems to rock for concert pics, despite not being able to get super close-ups. I just can't get 'em as good from the new camera yet, despite mucking all around with the settings...

Great review, Schmaffy. So happy for you!!!

All these freaking videos that I can't see here at work. Conroy, if your video is large, you should load it to google video. They accept larger files.

Can't freaking wait to get home tonight to check out all these visual aides!!

Catching up . . .
Minutes before gong, someone party fouls and I am now standing in an inch of beer. Standing with the Flag in a pool of liquid makes me feel like I'm standing in a puddle of gasoline with a lighted match.
Haha. I love this. Especially since I think I've been there as well.

Belated thank you for the incredible report, Schmaff. So glad that the longest flag foreplay in history was worth the wait. You've done us proud, and I thank you for going out there and showing Stewart the love and support of all of us.

And be warned that I am going to some day unabashedly steal this line:
I have become part of the music.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

The second Philly show was great, albeit too short for my tastes (especially with ticket prices as high as they were.) Of course, I realize this leg was the same length elsewhere, so Philly was no different in this regard. At this gig, Driven To Tears may have been the most powerful version I've witnessed/heard on the tour. A terrific audience CD exists of this show, courtesy of FlyingGonz, who also beautifully captured the band's first Philly appearance on the tour, back in July 2007.

I saw four shows on this tour: two Philly gigs, Atlantic City, and the MSG finale. I remain most entranced by the first Philly show. While there's admittedly an enthusiasm about a first show which is difficult to match, listening back to the bootleg (as I've done numerous times) reveals an energy that seemed more intense than later in the tour. The band played better later on, but I think Sting was letting loose on the vocals more, and performing with a greater intensity. Those who have this show may want to check out the end of Next To You, where he really gets crazy between shouting out "Philadelphia", and "Next To You"; I've not heard this elsewhere, including the following night's show in Hershey.

I suppose explaining such a seemingly small element seems trivial, but there was something about that show that transcended the huge baseball stadium, the annoying people around me, etc, which allowed me to connect to the performace in a way I seldom do at concerts anymore. This show is, without question, one of the best concerts I've ever attended (out of over 200.)

Were you able to video the whole show? This looks very good.
