Regrettably, there were no weekend tacos, despite my apparent proximity to a source that is relatively local and cheap. In the fullness of time, it becomes apparent that my laziness is all.

My Saturday was spent doing very little but a bit of paperwork and cursing about the house with minor, insignificant chores. My Sunday was spent commuting to, attending, and commuting back from a lower-Manhattan screening (with dinner afterward) of "The Dark Knight," which I wholeheartedly, enthusiastically, zealously recommend to anyone who believes that costumed superheroes are an inevitably frivolous source for genre filmmaking.

There were no tacos. There was Indian food in extraordinary quantities, however. I bravely suffered this paltry substitute with a stoicism I'd hope you fine, rugged daughters of the British Isles would approve.

Also, these bumps are frakking silly. You people have far more important threads to lend your keyboards to.

You're playing to my most obvious weakness. My need for attention. I hate you all.

Also: not really.

I'm genuinely hoping DM is taking every opportunity to play, whenever the car stops for more than a meal. Just thinking of Benicio del Toro's advice to Johnny Depp in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."

Didn't see that one, but in my house, when wifey or hubby gets to go play, separately or together, it makes them better wifey and hubby. Win win all around. Mr. E rox!!

This fine, rugged (is that a compliment?) daughter of the British Isles is slightly scared by the concept of a quantity of Indian food that Moeskido finds 'extraordinary'. I have had the pleasure of seeing the man in action when faced with a substantial quantity of subcontinental cuisine. 'tis not gluttony, but rather the polite unwillingness to leave something fabulous on a plate/platter/balti dish. For which the man deserves respect. And free indigestion remedies.

(The bumps may be silly, but you're stuck with them mate. It is a conspiracy.)

I'm having frozen burritos from Trader Joe's, so clearly your taco behavior doesn't extend to burritos!

Yep, I like bumpin' Moe too ...

Is it just me, or does anybody else feel compelled to send Moe casseroles while DM is away? They could be taco-flavored. . .
