Well......pretty self explanatory. What was your first post???

For me it was reading a review of the Vancouver concert and the reference to some "petulant pansy" article on some Stewart Copeland website.

Googled and came up with this site.

My first post was regarding first rows in Toronto which lead to some furor over some kind if flag point on video.

Still don't know what all the fuss was about.

"Forever Copeland" fan, I lurked for years and my first post was mistimed and a disaster.
My passion for Stewart prevented me from running away immediately.
Let's say I started with the wrong foot.

I was already a Police fan for a while, had gotten a hold of some Klark Kent songs... and I thought Stewart was cute.

Seems my first post was about Stewart doing the Amanda show theme.

Funny. Dirty Martini and I were just talking about this last night.

I had been a lurker for quite some time, though I must admit that I think was checked out Wombat's webtsite a bit more frequently.

Anyway, I had gone to the Vegas show on June 15, 2007 and I saw Stewart's shirt. It wasn't the Leroy shirt but just a kind of plain black Nike shirt with yellow piping. I NEEDED that shirt. I looked everywhere but I could not find it.

So I decided I needed to start a thread. And in order to start a thread, you have to be a member. I could no longer be just a lurker. And then once I started . . .

I was drawn in by Stewart's "Disaster Gig" post. A friend of mine sent it to me, all in a huff. I read it, and immediately knew he wasn't serious. So I checked out the site. My first post was after the Giant's Stadium gig. I remember talk of a party bus. . .

And here I am, almost a year later.

I fought the whole getting a computer thing to death, refused to own one. Then finally a friend gave me his old one. It sat in the spare room because I didn't want to pay for internet service. When I finally hooked it up, I was interested in The Police, but more Ian Copeland, so I did a search on him and found Backstage Cafe. I was very pro Stewart on that site which was a good thing. And those members led me here about 3 years ago. One of my favorite sites to boot.

Anyway, I lurked a long time before posting. Stewart has produced my favorite post-Police work of the three. I am a nutter at heart, but don't have the time to contribute as much as the rest of you between school and my kids.

I've only recently ceased being a lurker, though I've been reading for awhile. I think my first post was in favor of Oysterhead reforming. I came here because I've been a Stewart Copeland fan for years. I love the Police, and I love his drumming, being a drummer myself. I figured it was finally time to stop lazing on the pool deck and jump in the water.

I am simply blown away by your kindness of spirit to share with us. Especially your unreleased material. Being a professional drummer, I enjoy the material where you let lose on the drum kit . I really enjoyed the first track an awful lot and the last track was mindblowing I can see you spent time cutting and pasting all that in protools...I wish it would of appeared on the re-released material o well. Some of you used to write when I only had Stewartcopeland.it; I didn't have a forum but I had a page where you could send messages... I got them via e-mail and uploaded on that 'fans-page'; as usual, Stewart read them inthe same way he reads this forum.
With SC.it I had anyway quite a good number of visitors, a lot of fans but also a lot of journalists, media, tv and radio stations...it wasn't the best ever builted site but it worked, and it was the only one existing; its success drove me to 'hire' Eugenio to work on a better one.
All your posts made it all more succesful.

Yay! This is fun...

I had always followed Stewart's work on the soundtracks, particularly the Ken Loach ones. I would go out of my way to buy movies on DVD with his compositions. But what got me here and posting like a madwoman was having seen Oysterhead in 2006 at Bonnaroo.

I literally came straight home and got on the website. As it happens it had been taken down by a hacker attack recently, so I had to wait a little while...but was it ever worth it.

You know, tonight in Denver some of us were talking about how sad it'll be once the tour is over and maybe we won't see each other so often.

And then we thought...naaaah! There'll always be Gizmo, or the Orchestralli live shows, or something.

This group is too powerful to fall apart over something so simple as the end of the Police tour.

i came here at around the time i scored a ticket for the Q&A and screening of ES:TPIO in london september '06...

although the below post which looks like my first is dated as february '06; but the topic is about the reunion which was a year away at that point, so i'm confused... i think i lurked for a while... thanks to GIO, the team, everyone with green blood in their veins and Stewart.

i, like everyone else here, have been gasping for more details ever since i heard the rumours.... and i hope that i'll not have to spend £100's just to be at the back of some draughty atmosphere-less aircraft hanger with a pair of binoculars

i think they should do the Hammersmith Palais and Odeon travelling between the two in an armoured jobby; like they did before; or 20 nights at brixton academy...

did i read a thing saying that the U2 fans missed out on tickets due to lack of allocation to the fan club?

if i dont get a ticket i'm going to lose my kool!

and i've warned my fiancee that if i get a ticket for the 22nd of september that i'll be missing my wedding! she wasn't happy...... but i've only wanted to marry her for 2 years; i've wanted to see The Police for about 25!

First of all, I was Ian Copeland friend, he sent me some t-shirts, buttoms, signatures...he was a great guy!really!

I lurked for a long time (pre-reunion). Used to visit the long deceased stewartcopeland.com also.

What got me to jump in was Savannah. I had learned of the Savannah performance through the forum and bought tickets but hadn't actully joined until it was almost time for the show.

Now I know I am with friends in the Nutter community.
