Gio, are you all right, sweetie? It's like 9:00 in the evening there in Italy. Are you all rested up and ready to go? Don't be afraid just because there are 44 people on this site swirling around like a pack of vultures. We really are very gentle people and some of us even have cake, pie and other baked goods for you.

ETA: My daughter started reading this over my shoulder and thought I'd found myself a man on the Internet. "Are you ready to go" means, "Are you ready for this whole contest stuff."
If I had to get my daughter's mind out of the gutter, I can just imagine what you folks must have been thinking.
