It had to be a resounding YES vote....there can be no other way.

There was a large part of me that thought they might suffer the plight of many aging rockers reuniting with their former band to recapture the old flame of superstardom, but then I saw a couple performances of 'Bring on the Night' on YouTube. One was the Police circa '80ish when they were still just a 3 piece without the horns or backup singers, and the other was very recent with Sting's band.

While the musician in me really can't complain too much about the Sting band rendition, it just doesn't have the passion, the energy, or the drive of the Police's version. I would love to see my man Stewart behind the kit playing those classic Police beats with my own two eyes since I was too young the first time around.

Oh yes....I keep forgetting how much these guys HATE each other. I read it in the news just the other day so it *must* be true...
