Let your Team Copeland Flag fly!!! (Flag-Bearers wanted.)

Postby Ramuthra on 23 May 2008 03:03

I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure how this works, but it's possible that I will be attending a show in washington on july 11th. It would be cool to fly the flag.

Hey, Ramuthra.

Someone else has volunteered for that show as well, but it doesn't look like we can get the flag to Washington -- at least not with the resources available right now.

But send me an email just in case circumstances change. No guarantees, but you never know.

Thanks!

Forgive me if this sounds ill-timed or uncouth, but since JB2 is not the last show anymore, I was wondering if it were at all possible for a Canadian Wookie to bear all..er...um...I mean the Flag? That would mean way more to me than being at the last show.

However if the position is already filled then I fully understand and respect that. :)

Tama, sorry! I got your email, but with presales and everything, I haven't had a chance to look at it. Give me some time please. Things are a bit nuts.

I figured as much, DM. No apology necessary.

"a bit nuts" sounds like a bit of an understatement.

nancy, after my recent flag experience i took some time to look at dm's wonderful smugmug creation and saw where you were on 16th july last year.......

A couple of days later, the Flag gets its very first shout-out:
"I love seeing the green flag out there. It was so close in Cleveland that Andy almost tripped over it."

That was quite the night, smax! We were all so much younger and more naive, still unaware of the full power and glory to be found in a seemingly simple piece of green fabric!

It's been quite a ride...the kind of stuff that, if you made it up, no one would ever believe!!
