I know this is a sore subject, but probably the Biggie tribute song. Guess it's not technically a cover, but it's close enough.

(I'd sure like to hear Jack White cover "One World"...or "Bombs Away"...)

Eddie Murphy in "48 Hours" covering Roxanne.

Seriously though, in my opinion Dave Samuels (Mallet Keyboardist) put out a album in the 90's with Alex Acuna on drums where they covered Walking on the Moon. Quite enjoyable.

Do you have a link to heard it?

Alex Acuna (Alex Acuña) is one of the best drummers of the jazz scene (ex-Weather Report) he is from Peru, he lives in L.A. and perhaps is whom designed the "Box" (peruvian "Cajon") that Stewart tried to play in the last "Art DVD" with that german violinist!

My favourite Police cover is Roxanne by Fall Out Boy. That rocks!

I second that! Ms. Hatfield's rendition of EBYT is awesome. She played all of the instruments except the drums on that track!

Love her!
