HAH, I didn't say I wouldn't offer a likely explanation...I'm done with the rants...<grin> But I won't be satisfied until I know all my peeps have decent seats for this concert and the refunds due are posted in full to their accounts, then the party's on!!!

As for myself, I am no longer a customer of TM for the rest of this tour so I'm basically a super happy cat...I have already arranged to pick up an extra for a Philly ticket from another nutter and am working on the rest...

I get absolute first class treatment! The freedom, I tell ya...<grin>

I'm worried because they wouldn't even immediately give me a cancellation this morning when I called, saying that it had to wait for approval.

Just got my refund posted on my credit card statement.. they shorted me $3!!

A**holes..

I'm not even going to waste my time, but those of you who are still waiting, maybe request you get a FULL refund..

Ok, if 300 people decide on a refund and they all leave Tb $3, that $900 profit as they can resell the tickets and charge another $3 fee. So in essence they are gaining $1800 profit for their fuck up. I'm in the wrong business.

It's been very very busy the last few days, so I have been MIA. Will catch you up later

I spoke with Jeff from Ultrastar today. He offered me what Dan said: to upgrade to better seats by paying the difference.
I told him about the Birmingham and Manchester shows where similar production changes *cough* caused closing of some sections and fans were given better seats for no extra charge.


Of course, that is at the promoter's discretion. (*cough* Live Nation *cough*) and will not be occuring for this show.

I expressed my displeasure and pointed out that I was FAR from alone in this on these boards.

I asked where the seats were and he told me I could pay but he would not know where they were. After laughing hysterically, I said I would like a full refund.

He is processing it. He apologized profusely for the way Ticketmaster has handled this, however I pointed out that I don't think management is handling it well.

I pointed out how upset fans were with the FC presale allotment even before this happened, and how I thought it would be INCREDIBLY difficult to get people to sign up again based on the deal this year. He said they are aware of these issues.

I also happened to mention that I thought the BEST way to get some good PR out of this (*cough* knows how to do her job *cough*) would be to do a FAN CLUB SOUNDCHECK at some point that week, preferably at the show where people were messed about with. He said he was there to elevate my concerns and suggestions and things are being discussed, but he could not discuss.

So, at this point, I am simply still waiting for my credit card to see some cash back please.

I could use it.
