[quote="TOWOS"]Thank you for the info on Gert!
Some considerations:
Stingo is not bipolar (the new black?), he looks more chronically depressed (takes one to know one). The truth is that no one of us (or them) will be here (there) without the other.
The chemistry is the magic of a band.
When the band ends, each one of the musicians brings that special spark with them. Some have a taste for what's popular, some do WTF inspires them regardless of the money it will make.
The Police were a Trinity and a Unity.
So I don't get why one is/must be more important than the other and dictate everything this way. Because each brings that peculiar element, that magic sprinkle. They were a Unit. A litigious unit, but a unit and no one - NO ONE - has had the same success on his own or moved legions of crowds like the Unity of the Trinity.
I don't understand his behavior (does anybody?) but recognize his value and the fact that the band needs him (as he needs the band).
So the Beatles could not do it again (other things came into play, that luckily didn't happen to the Police). The Police did it again.
I wonder why the fans cannot accept this and go their separate ways like before. You can love one, two, three of them: it's really like one part of the Unity.
Come on, let's get along. Regardless.

He is actually bipolar and thats why he is so eccentric. But thats's part of the reason some of us love him. He may surprise us yet. But I agree let them go do what they gotta do without The Police. Stewart and Andy aren't used to such a long amount of touring. I am sure they want to get back home and back to normal. But we will see what happens in the longrun. There may be future gigs just for special events. We can only hope. I am looking forward to another Andy photography book. Stewart should write a book about his whole tour. I am sure he has a lot to say.
Does Everyone Stare The Way I Do.
