Outlandos D'amour originally released in Japan in Lp-Sized Cardboard Sleeve in 2005 will be re-released in the same package on January 24th.

Reggatta De Blanc, Zenyatta Mondatta, Ghost In The Machine and Synchronicity will also be released at this date in this country for the first time, as the copies we could have seen on Ebay from Russia or Lituania were bootlegs.

Do you think these are the same that came out in Europe as well in 2005? Do you remember the digipack/cardboard versions? (SACD)

Hi Gio,

Japanese reissues usualy come now in cardboard sleeves edition (aka Paper Sleeves Edition) as Mini LP's, replicas of original vinyl LPs.

Outlandos D'Amour was released in July 2005 only in Japan in this format, different from SACD digipack/cardboard sleeves editions released in April 2003 in Europe and also in Japan with obis.

The other albums were never released even if we can see copies from dealers from Russia or Lituania. These copies are bootlegs.

These ones which will be released by Universal Records Japan only seem to be SACDs coming in a deluxe, miniaturized LPs sleeve replicas of the original vinyl albums artwork.

This is my first post here, so first of all a warm HELLO to everyone.

Regarding the Japanese reissues: from what I know these will be mini LP replicas (I think this was also stated in a pre-order list I received last month). I'm sure that they [i]don't[/i] come in LP sized sleeves like the Outlandos edition from 2005. Otherwise CD Japan would have charged more for shipping as LP sized covers are much heavier.

Everyone interested in those cds should order now, cause most of the LP replica editions are limited to around 5.000 copies and sell out pretty quickly.

I've also seen recently there are some packages with Cd's coming housed in a promo Reggatta box.
