What are you Listening to ..RIGHT NOW!!!

Ha! Jedsoon, I was just telling Mr. Dive about an interview I once in read in which Maurice Gibb claimed "Stayin Alive" was based on the rhythm of his car tires going over a bridge. We were driving over one at the time.

Wait, I think maybe it may have been "Jive Talkin," actually......

On topic - "Ingazeiras" by Ednardo E O Pessoal Do Ceara, from this fab album: http://www.dustygroove.com/item.php?id=w3chq32gw9
I'm Not Drowning is my favorite tune on the new album as well. Be sure to pick up the Best Buy edition as it comes with a 30-minute dvd including interviews and performance including EC!
Jose((Neto) told me that, and I had already preordered at Amazon a year before...
But it's not too late. Thanks, jeds!!! :D :D :D

Went to the dentist and they played it TWICE on KFOG. Might be a hit!!! :D

Ex- Bad Seed Barry Adamson's latest CD "Back to the Cat". It's like a soundtrack to a non-existent movie which hops various genre's and is way too short. His instrumentals are sublime.

Interesting ...

We're listening to The Who, Don't Get Fooled Again, from Who's Next ... my delightful husband shares most of my musical taste, and we both love The Who, which means we both had the entire catalog on vinyl. Slowly we've been getting it on CD, and he used my upcoming birthday as an excuse to get Face Dances, Who's Next, and It's Hard on CD.

As well as Quadrophenia ... I've always *loved loved loved* Quadrophenia. In the late '80s when I moved in with the boyfriend who was destined to become my scary ex, we had duplicate Quadrophenias, so I gave mine to a good friend. Now, after 17 years, it's in the house again.

Must report in after the show. Quite a few REM fans out there among the nutters.
They have really been mixing up the set lists with different songs and most of Accelerate.

I will definitely report back after the show! And I should thank you, too! Your review was the final push I needed to hunt down these tickets!!
