I know there are some mac officionados on here so...

I'm having trouble with my modem since upgrading to Mac OSX 10.4, can anyone recommend a decent broadband ADSL modem for a G4?

Are you having problems with a built-in modem or an external modem? I'm assuming by your question that you have high speed DSL and are using an external ADSL modem that you are hooking up to your Mac via USB but I just want to be sure that is the case. If so, have you tried to connect it to another USB port or tried connect other USB devices to the same USB port that the ADSL modem uses? What type of G4 do you have (desktop or laptop)?

Avoid Belkin as support is poor and firmware updates are confusing. If you are going for a new ADSL modem, personally I would go down the NetGear route. Reliable, well constructed and more stylish too if that matters.

Try D-Link, now I can't remember the exact model but if you visit the company site I'm pretty sure you can find the answer to satisfy your question.

bye

Thank you for your advice all you lovely people! I've been on various mac forums and it seems like the modem I'm using (Speedtouch 330) is useless with OSX 10.4 despite the manufacturer's claims. I'm going to go for a new netgear one instead I think - they are pretty cheap.
