That Tama banner is a thing of beauty - not to mention downright hard to find these days. For those interested in one you can check this link out (one of my favourite drum sites):http://www.vintagedrums.com/

Click on the "Memorabilia" section on the left side of the page and scroll down and you'll see it...for a whopping $700 bucks!
  <swallows tongue>

<Clicks on link anyhow>

The mirror underneath the banner is pretty sweet, too.
Hey JT, if you're such a big Copeland fan, why don't you just get a new Signature kit? You work for Ken Stanton Music; it shouldn't be that hard to get. Unless you let some Nutter buy it before you!

Heh, heh. Thanks JT. :)

I had every intention on buying the set until you came along! Just joking. Tamadude is a great guy and yes he ordered one of the 12 and the only Copeland set that was coming to the Southeast. He should be seeing it in the next month.
So Tamadude, should we get you a Rotosound now?

Hey tamajt is your band happening to play next weekend? I'm gonna be in Atlanta for the Breeders on the 13th! I like your use of splashes <wink>

Hey GSC, I will be playing but unfortunately, private gigs are all that I do. I rarely play at clubs and bars. Private gigs are where the $ is at. Have fun at the Breeders. I didn't know they were still around.

Good eyes my friend! That was an early eighties Tama promo also. It is cracked though. I will post my 1978 Klark Kent "Too Kool to Kalypso" poster soon.

Take care of that! (and don't ever tell me where you live  )

About the only photo of my kit I have without my ugly mug in it is this one. Taken waaay back (90s).

http://members.tripod.com/~stik/drumphot.jpg

They're an Australian made brand called Brady, that uses Aussie hardwoods - great sound! Absolutely kick-arse snares. They don't endorse, so you don't see their name anywhere, but you do hear their snares a lot in recordings. Their artist list is huge, but the artists aren't allowed to thank them on album covers, etc.

20"x22" kick, 12"x12", 14"x14", 16"x16" toms in Jarrah ply.
12"x7" wandoo block snare

I also have an old red 80s Tama imperial star that I only use for practice. not worth photographing it's in such a state. And of course my PC at home died the other day and I can't get the more recent photos, or find a decent one already on the web. Sigh.

Cymbals are either a Paiste 2002 and Signature setup, or Zildjian As and Ks, but only ever Paiste splashes. Just gotta have THAT Stewart sound.

Some great kits in here. SpecA and Tamatj's are lovely. I wish drume were cheaper here. You can plretty much double the US price of drums when you think about them on the Aussie market.

Triple WOW. You gotta tell the tale, tamajt.

Also dying to see vid of you playing that sweet kit. Come on, man. You KNOW you have an appreciative audience, here.

(Hell, now *I* want a drumkit. And trust me when I tell you I suck at drumming. I have been kind of noodling around on my Rickenbacker 325 lately, though...

Hm. I should post some guitar pictures. I also have a cherry-red Gibson ES335. And a crappy Fender bass...)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Drummer Dave- painting with light, very cool! :D

I've heard of Brady's especially snares, never HEARD them tho. I also never realized just how expensive drums were down under- holy crap that sucks dude! I won't complain anymore when I think about getting new equipment.
