Thanks all! I have a been a Police fan for along time and I love buying gear(Tama, Paiste only). I do play every weekend in Atlanta. So this stuff gets used alot.

You can't see any autographs in those frames, but Pat signed that in the early nineties(I have a polaroid somewhere with her). All of the other albums have autographs too from the artists.

I thought you guys would like the Percussion set! You don't see those too often. I had a set of Crotales that I sold a few years ago. Playing "Wrapped around your finger" over and over was getting old!

I swear I bought the blue sparkle way before there was any talk of a Police reunion. I just copied the Oysterhead set. I didn't care for green sparkle(sorry nutters). When I saw the Grammys, I freaked.

Thanks again for your interest . I will post some of my other cool Police memorabilia soon now that I know how to post photos.

Absolutely beautiful tamajt!!

Anyone in the market for new drums? Check these out I found on ebay, I checked elsewhere and they're over $2000. They may be last years model or something, wondering why they're so inexpensive, considering they're starclassics and all....Scroll down and see the "psychadelic red" that;s what I want!!

Very nice- freaking A you have a rotosound! And how the hell did you get that first pressing of the Blue Bell?[/quote]

Everyone needs a Rotosound!! They rock!

I am endorsed with paiste(Tama and regal tip) and I called my inside girl at Paiste to just hold one for me. Dont know why. I just got lucky.

Hey JT, if you're such a big Copeland fan, why don't you just get a new Signature kit? You work for Ken Stanton Music; it shouldn't be that hard to get. Unless you let some Nutter buy it before you!

Heh, heh. Thanks JT. :)

S*W*E*E*E*T!!!

Hey tamajt is your band happening to play next weekend? I'm gonna be in Atlanta for the Breeders on the 13th! I like your use of splashes <wink>

The Starclassic birch prices look to be consistently driven down (they can be had for a bit more than a Superstar or what used to be called a Rockstar) if you look, because TAMA keeps coming out with the more and more elaborate/exotic warlord and bubinga lines and with maples remaining a top choice as well.

I freaking love the cobalt/purply finish they have for that line...I love TAMA, they couldn't make a shit drum if they tried, even sitting here at the bottom of the line I <3 them!

Dinking around, I'm surprised to see the rotosound is actually quite reasonable in prices ranging from 110-160 depending on the size (7" 8" or 9") and merchant...

Although, I'd rather have this and keep my Imperialstars:

Absolutely love seeing these pictures from all you drummers!
Tamajt - I'm diggin'...well...EVERYTHING you got going on there :D :D :D
Hell yeah, everyone needs a rotosound! I'm thinking of mounting mine outside near our front door. Instead of visitors using the doorbell they could give the rotosound a chime.
That Tama banner is a thing of beauty - not to mention downright hard to find these days. For those interested in one you can check this link out (one of my favourite drum sites):

http://www.vintagedrums.com/

Click on the "Memorabilia" section on the left side of the page and scroll down and you'll see it...for a whopping $700 bucks!
