I didn't see a bong but I am pretty sure I saw rolling papers....and a stash disguised as a roll of 35mm film.

Great replica, looks to me like a bit of a synch tour set up. Got the 2002 medium crash, 2002 splashes, 602 hi hats, the 24'' ride/crash, rude crashes.
Dare i ask is that a ictus 75 ufip ice bell?

it's not quite the Synch kit- there are a couple of mods...

- the crash on the left is a 18" Signature Full Crash...they're a bit sweeter, although I've got some great 2002's

- the RUDE crashes are actually Thin Crashes...They've got much better tone

- the ice bell is an LP ice bell. The pitch is the same...I didn't realize it was a UFIP until after I'd bought the LP... it's all rock & roll though, you know??

- the snare is a 60's Slingerland Krupa 5x14 COB snare, same thick brass shell...great drum!!

If you're interested in the Ice bells- I have both the 9.5" Zildjian Zilbel, and the 6" Paiste cup chime- both are great, the Zilbel rings and sustains like a motherfucker tho- it is L O U D.

The cup chime is surprising cheap for a Paiste cymbal too- check them out. :D

Well after all the super sweetness already posted in this thread, I'm afraid my set-up will resemble more the Danger Cart from ATHF than a chariot of fire, but it's mine all mine and it screams early STEWARTNESS--at least to me!

http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w49/ ... 010746.jpg

http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w49/ ... 010764.jpg

Story behind the midnight blue Tama ImperialStar: PapaCat went and bought me a kit on super-closeout from some place or another as a surprise having no idea about the make/model/color significance...talk about meant to be (that's regarding both the kit and PapaCat <grin> All he knew was I wanted a big-ass bass drum (24" or 26") like Bonham's, that's all...Course now my rack toms are up in the heavens, but I do want some smaller ones so I'm thinking of putting the 13" on a cymbal stand and getting a 10" up top...

TAMA called this line ImperialStar in the 80s, then for a while through the 90s it became the SwingStar and as of a year or so ago it went back to the ImperialStar...coincidence? <grin>

24" bass, 16 floor, 12 & 13 rack, standard 14' snare...Paiste PST5 18" crash, 14" hats, 22" ride plus have a 16" Wuhan china that scares the living shit out of the cats <giggle>

I am probably plunking down for some A customs once I figure my skeels have earned them (the Paiste sigs are beeeeaut-ful but GGD they're spensive and the A customs--Sweet Ride, 16 & 18 crashes, Sweet hi-hats, etc. are *really* super sound for a pretty good price). At least I upgraded the Planet Z's...made a clock out of the crash/ride, looks better than it sounded <wince>

Forgive the distorted view- for all you photo geeks out there this was taken with the Sigma 10-20mm lens (114deg FOV)- It's the only way I could fit it all in one shot, can't back up anymore! The overhead shot was with the camera pressed up against the ceiling. :)
