SEBASTOPOL - After ringing in New Year's Eve for over a decade in San Francisco, Primus bass player and North Bay resident Les Claypool is teaming up with the creators of the Harmony Festival and moving his annual New Year's Eve Hatter's Ball home to the Grace Pavilion @ Sonoma County Fairgrounds at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The Claypool Band's first-ever public Sonoma County performance is expected to be the North Bay's biggest bash this New Year's Eve.

Les will be joined by New Orleans Social Club featuring members of the Neville Brothers and The Meters including George Porter Jr., Leo Nocentelli, Ivan Neville, Henry Butler, Raymond Weber, and The Coup's Boots Riley and Pam the Funkstress--the funkateers Billboard just dubbed "the best hip-hop act of the past decade." A portion of the event's proceeds will benefit the New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund.
