What are you Listening to ..RIGHT NOW!!!

(Wants to know how damn many ears smax has got)
just the normal two... friday night started early.

tonight some guitars; canned heat, the who (live), some cat stevens, some soul; lee dorsesy, the meters, aaron neville, labi saffri (?), and now some ambient bleeps courtesy of underworld and aphex twin..

(smudge, i like those mixes you mention {not as much as stew's, natch} and they should've had a wider audience, although the 'everystandyoutakebreath' one feels a bit wrong 'cos to the best of my recollection Ben E King was not in the p'lice....still enjoyable tho)
OneWorldinKrypton is currently making me dance like a loon. (BTW your link post led me there this morning - cheers!)

smax, you wouldn't be interested in handing out mix tapes, wouldya? ;)

(Hey, you know...that's not a half bad idea. Save for a few I fried up for Hannah last year I haven't really done any of that for Nutters....)

OT: 'It Makes No Difference,' The Band....earlier: first Wilco album (A.M.); Johnny Cash, 'Live at San Quentin'...guess I'm just in a roots mood tonight

(plus we got our outside speakers working and I've been slaving away over a hot bucket of deck soap all afternoon...took a breather from campaign work, seems they had enough volunteers on hand today and Hub had the afternoon off to help with chores...)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Well, it's been one of those nights here too...PCat and I are madly working away getting ready for Seattle so I set the stereo to shuffle, bouncing around between Warsaw, the Cramps, The Hives, Wilco, Queens of the Stone Age, Tom Waits, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gorillaz, Massive Attack, P J Harvey, Oysterhead, Manu Chao, X, The Pogues, and bunch others (25 disc thingy)...

right this moment: X "The World's a Mess..."

I'm listening to the Dares' new single, Love Me When I Leave. Check 'em out at their myspace page. They have grown into young men, no longer lads!

I adore Stewart's derangements, but I gotta admit that Jo's One World in Krypton is my absolute favorite Police remix.

Over here it's the 1 Giant Leap album that I finally acquired. Am totally in love wih "The Way You Dream" and not just because I'm a Stipeophile. Before that it was one of the newest "gypsy swamp" bands, but I can't remember which. (Hazmat Modine highly recommended.)
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Some live Hendrix including a instrumental version of Cream's "Sunshine of Your Love" which raises the question of whether Jimi really was human. Human fingers can't move that fast.
