Freaking hilarious Stewart quotes

OK, so I've been away awhile and I'm catching up on all the interview stuff, and I found this from a link Bongoboy posted:

Favorite song?
I go back and forth between “Can’t Stand Losing You” and “Message in a Bottle”.

(snippity)

I met Russell Crowe the other day and he seems to have this love-hate relationship with the press.
He’s a dick. Well, most actors are not dicks. What they are that makes them difficult to deal with is being really bad conversationalists for whatever reason – either because they’re self-obsessed or because they’re vapid, nothing going on upstairs. The hell of being stuck next to an actor or actress at a dinner party… Oh my God, try to make conversation! Slash is a more sensible person and with him you can have a conversation about anything than pretty much any actor. Well, I’m talking about American actors. English thespians are a whole different category. They’re always the life of the party. English actors are different, unless they’ve been in America for 20 years!

Jesus, I love it when he trashes celebrities in the press. Because we all know how sick everyone is of Paris Hilton, right?

(and I bet he's right about Russell Crowe...although I gotta tell you, they worship him in Sydney...it's kind of pitiful, because they have some local actors who are far better...)

OK, I'm still reading, it's the Metro France interview Stew did lately...

And I think this may be the best interview I've ever read from him. What is with him lately?? It's like, all of a sudden, he's handing out the keys to the kingdom - talking about why the Police broke up, naming his favorite Police song, namechecking bands he likes...wow. I think he's even telling us how he handles the Police reunion questions he surely answers three dozen times per day without going barmy (Maybe he'll name his favorite solo project one of these days.)

Maybe we, his fans, have finally harrassed him enough and convinced him we want to know all this stuff. ;) I sometimes suspect he worries he's boring us, which is so ridiculous.

Here's the interview link...

For me Russell Crowe is an ugly man, but looks like he thinks he is so handsome and sexy.

Russel and me have very different perception of his image...

Is Russell Crowe the chubby guy that beat his wife, or the one that hit some guy with a phone?

I read a good one last night from one of the articles available on ThePoliceStation.net

Interviewer: What are your views on America?
SC: Uh... it's a good place to bring up your food.

He kills me, I swear to God. Referring to his kids by numbers...Girl 3...

In a way, I feel sorry for the poor child, but you have to figure a.) Fiona is bound to be way cool and probably has a similar sense of humor, and b.) so will Girl 3, once she's old enough.

(I'm actually the youngest of 21 grandchildren...Mom was the 7th of 10...so often I'll refer to myself as the second child of Daughter 7...Hell, you really do need shorthand. I can explain the complexities of "second cousin" vs. "second cousin once removed" if anyone cares...)

Murder by numbers...

Dive don't be dramatic.

As a matter of fact, all in our universe can resume by numbers...

I agree with Mrs. Gradenko, I wouldn't put the names out there either.

I also agree this guy cracks me up. The more interviews I read, the more he cracks me up and warms my heart.
