I'm very curious as to any type of religious prosecution the band endured. When I was a child, I almost never became a Police fan, thanks to the pic of Sting with the skeleton, haha. I was so young, and that scared the crap out of me. I thought you guys were demon posessed. Let's not talk about the flaming phone and Andy!!!!! My first cd was Outlandos, and it was burned thanks to Next To You. Can you imagine if they got as far as Sally? Hahahaha. I'd welcome any thoughts.

Mmmm, when I saw The Police guys I saw them very normal, maybe the most strange thing for me was Sting's haricut from Olutlandos LP...

Talking from another punk group, Ramones was a normal name for me because is the name of a little town in my state (Nuevo León), but I got the impression that the guys wanted to look like 'King Arthur but in, an ugly version.

Anyway, Ramones music still sounds incredible good :!:

As far as demonic Police possession, for some reason I'm reminded of a Christian-rock DVD I saw lately entitled "Why Does Satan Get All the Good Bands?" I'm not sure what the answer is, but I do have to opine that nearly all good rock 'n roll has a certain Devil-may-care attitude.
