It's official...

It's official...

Here's a quote by Sting that was in an October issue of Time Magazine:

"Rock music has come to a standstill. It's not going forward anymore. It only bores me."

STING, singer, on why his new album Songs from the Labyrinth features only music by 16th century composer John Dowland

I guess it's official, there won't be a Police reunion  - unless they go classical.

He'll change his mind, when he realises he's bored allot of his fans.... or not.

Yeah I already read this quote in a newspaper.

I think Sting said that because he is on a post-middle age crisis!

Boring

Postby giovanni on 13 Nov 2006 18:27

The 'boring' thing is that most of the journalists LOVE to put this kind of words into artists mouth...it's their job! Sting never really said that, even when in the past he said ROCK IS DEAD (around the end of the Eighties...)... I've been to some interviews with Sting talking to journalists and I can tell how many times some ironic comments became serious statements.....you remember of course the whole 'fake' story about tantric sex that the media keep on telling....

...he will rock again as we know...

Well didn't Sting admit that he did say that he could have sex for hours? And that was mostly forplay, which he included dinner.

A truel fact is that Sting has an arrogant personality, very very different from his expals Stewart or Andy.

But is okay, I think many Police's fans as I, like Sting's voice, and how he rocks with The Police, no matter what he say or not saying...

How can you explain, shadows in the mass media!
