As a percussionist (snare) in the high school Marching band from 1982-1986, Stewart was the ongoing topic of discussion. Most of us had never been to a concert, but all of us had spent our lawn mowing, snow shoveling, and baby sitting money on drum equipment (Roto Toms) and Police Albums/Tapes. The band director, at the time, even went so far as to seek out a drummer of Stewarts caliber for an in school concert (Buddy Rich: He wanted $10,000. and a case of Budweiser(no kidding) while he played ...a little more than the band parents could spring for).

As a 38 year old now, the memories of those times were magical. If there ever was a "reunion"......no price would be too much.
