it's pretty close. i have about 100 pair in my favorites list, but i think that they took that option away... don't know what's going on, but i'm going to find out!

i just got my tax refund. i should save it, but i just don't know if i can. we'll see what i have left after concert tickets, tires, car repairs and some other misc. expenses (shoes).

paris hilton sux on so many levels, not the least of which is her supporting the puppy mill trade by buying all her dogs from pet stores!

Go Mad!

What are you gonna do on the Paris thing....Zap still has the best selection, even if their prices aren't best....

(I shop a lot on Sierra Trading Post, since I get 3x the American Airlines points from aadvantageeshopping.com....but many of the models are reviewed on Zappo...I do try to write reviews there, since I use them a lot, even if I don't always buy there.)

Newest purch:

I just couldn't resist. I'd been eyeballing these all winter and here they are in my size and half price.

I got all fired up about this issue again after watching Oprah last Thursday. She did a show about puppy mills. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE practice! The sad thing is, it's not illegal. :x

It's awful, though (I have five cats, as I may have posted here before, all adoptees....one of them in particular is just awesome and was thrown into the street like so much garbage, I just can't understand why people wouldn't adopt shelter animals...)

My bag arrived yesterday! And believe it or not? EVERYTHING was in it. Including some jewelry that would have bought a thief a (really) nice dinner had he fenced it all. Also, all my copies of stuff brought by the Nutters to Savannah!!

I'm in the process of writing letters to Sheraton's corporate owners, telling them what a good job their staff did. Seriously. I really kind of can't believe it.

Shoes: I do have, um, a lot of pairs of shoes. I try to turn them over relatively often, I have a couple of cousins and a SIL who wear my size. So they do get recycled!

Hurray about your bag! There absolutely are good, honest people in the world! :D :D Most excellent.

Oh, and I've got bids in on both green and pink Chucks. Shipping is nuts on the pink pair, so I kinda doubt my bid will be high enough. We'll see. Figured I'd represent Andy this summer, too. :)

Dive, don't tell me you had luggage problems again! OY! You must always put your jewels in your carry-on!

2 of my kitties are adoptees from the SPCA. My third was found in a county park along with his sister. They are both beautiful Russian Blues and they were just dumped there! I don't know why people don't get their pets neutered.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!
