Going to see Joe Jackson on April 9th.

He's got a new record out that I highly recommend and scaled down things a bit. On the record and live is just piano, bass and drums.

He was in Philly Friday, shame I couldn't go.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the show, especially with just drums, bass & keyboard. I've been playing the Live 80-86 CD this past week. Joe is very underated.

Skipping RUSH this year unless there's some cheapo tickets (they play in a few weeks so who knows).

Joined the DMB Warehouse to try to get better tickets than the lawn seats we always seem to get, ends up we get the fucking best/most expensive tix on our first time (random lottery)!! We'll find out our seats for the Aug 15th show in a few weeks.

Just heard yesterday that Cheap Trick, Heart, and Journey will be playing July 26th- the wife and I are SOOOO going to see that!! :D $25 lawn seats? Hellz yeah! Oooooh Barracuda! And yes, I will hold on to that feeling.

Man and I thought last year was a great concert season... All of this plus I get one more show for The Police?! Rock On. :D

Great! Joe Jackson sold out in Redwood City.
I already have Breeders and Winwood on my agenda AND HotHead if they go to LA max.

Saw Joe last night. If any way possible, catch a show on this tour. It was brilliant. Just Joe on piano, Graham Maby on bass and Dave Houghton on drums. The musicianship and interplay and Joe's mastery of the piano is something to hear. He played tunes from his terrific new record, Rain and dug deep into his back catalog. The man truly is underrated and I've been an avid fan since I first heard and saw him in '79.
2 standing O's for this sold out crowd.

Most of the shows on the tour have been sold out. Maybe he'll be back for a second leg of the tour.
