Hard tickets for the extra money or electronic?

Postby jennym on 06 Mar 2007 20:51

I read that many have gone with the extra expense to get the hard tickets. Is this for memorabilia? If no, why? Tomorrow will be my day to get tickets and I'm trying to plan way ahead.
Thanks!

The only reason I'd say go for hard tickets is if you think, for any reason, you may have to or want to resell the tickets.

Many people will not buy electronic tickets second-hand because of the risk that the seller has printed out and sold multiple copies of the same ticket...only the first scan of that barcode through the door will work.

If you absolutely know there's no way you WON'T be using the tickets yourself, there's really no problem I've ever encountered with electronic tickets in the past.

I haven't had any problems using electronic tickets either.

However, for memorabilia sake, I did want the hard tickets. Anyone here know how long it takes to get them in the mail?

Thanks in advance.

If you go for the hard tickets through standard US mail, there is no extra expense. I just got mine yesterday for the Seattle show, so they took about 2 weeks from purchase date to arrival.

I was paranoid about out and went with the least expensive UPS option. I figured I was spending so much already, what's another 10 or 15 dollars..?

I would say for memorbillia's sake. The electronic ticket is the best way to go usually.

:) Hello everyone! I too,, went the electronic ticket route. I did stop and think for a moment about how nice it would be to have hard tickets in my hand for the memorabilia also,, but chose that way. For me, it was just a thrill to have the tickets in my hand right away, so i could keep pinching myself and making sure that this was really happening! Ive been a fan since 1980 so im pretty excited. I am so glad the guys are doing this,,, its making alot of our dreams come true. They are truly a group ive admired for years and very talented.. each and every one of them. What a thrill and honor to be a part of this! Plus,, Im making new friends along the way! HELLO.... from Wisconsin! Have a great day all! Thanks for letting me be a part of this. Its wonderful. :D
