tpt passward???

Postby feralkid on 02 Apr 2007 12:08

I purchased tickets which apparently included membership to the police website. Ticketmater said that the police website would send me a password to activate my membership via email but nothing yet and that was over 3 weeks ago. anyone have the same problem or any advice as i'm getting frustrated :?

That's the first I've heard of this!

I do recall that a 3-month trial sting.com membership was included with any ticket purchase for both his Broken Music Tour and the Sacred Love Tour. I haven't seen any "official" mention of such an offer from tpt.com, ticketbastard, or any other entity.

With the price and demand for tickets such as they are, I'd be extremely surprised if such an offer exists or will be extended.

Hello Feralkid, the same thing happened to me.
My ticket confirmation on March 9th promised a complimentary TPT virtual ticket membership within 10 business days.
After 10 days I'd heard nothing so I e-mailed TPT, they eventually replied asking me the e-mail address I got the tickets from.
I let them know it was Ticketmaster.co.uk and that's the last I heard, that was over a week ago now.
Sorry I can't help but at least we both know we're not the only one !

This is my first post, I've been a lurker since the rumours started around Xmas time.
I haven't posted before, but like Feralkid says this is frustrating

There was a presale for most (if not all) shows that included a one year Police Fan Club membership. These presales typically began at 4:00 PM the same day the regular fan club presale started. This gave those that were already fan club members first chance at tickets (after the Best Buy people of course). These packages added $100 (in the U.S.) to the price of your ticket order, and it said purchasers would get an email from TPT in about 10 days telling them how to activate their membership. There should be a notation on the Ticketmaster receipt for that extra charge.

If you haven't heard yet you might try calling Ticketmaster, but don't even waste your time with the operator you get, they won't have a clue. I'd immediately ask for a manager - most likely Ticketmaster was overwhelmed and couldn't keep up with the demand.
