Madison Square Garden - August 1 & 3, 2007

I thought I'd start a thread for the Garden shows, since I'm going to try to get tickets to either/both shows tomorrow in the general sale (whatever I can manage to swing).

Good luck to anyone else trying tomorrow...are you just going nuts worrying about getting in yet or what?

I might try, but some of the dates conflict with Lolla.

I also like seeing "what could be" in some scenarios.

Two folks manning our computers this morning.

I scored 2 floor seats near the back (Section 9 row P) for 8/1
vespapod got screwed over with 2 behind the stage seats (324, Row F) for 8/3.

Nothing more coming up available, within 10 minutes of going on sale.

Damn that was fast. At least I have some tickets, though.

I read somewhere today that the MSG tickets sold out in 14 minutes...crazy!

Though I've never been to MSG (I'm a left coaster), I would think that you'll be quite near the mixer board so things should sound excellent sockii!

Yeah, that's one thing to be said for the back of the floor - it's usually the best place to be sound-wise. For the view I always like lower tier near the side of the stage, but the sound can be iffy that way...

Guess my only solution is to sit as many different locations as possible through the tour, eh?

(Still waffling what to do about my behind the stage seats for 8/3...on one hand it could suck massively, on the other it might not be a bad vantage point for watching Stewart on the kit, but maybe I'll have to wait until we've seen some pictures of what the stage setup will be like to decide...)
