"First stop is Stewart Copeland’s studio. All I am told is that I should bring my violin with me because there may be a few photos at the studio with our respective instruments. As I enter the studio door, which is in the grounds of Copeland’s glorious mansion in the Hollywood Hills, I find him and Andy Summers jamming together at full throttle. Suddenly an awful feeling dawns on me – these are two of the greatest rock musicians in the world, and they’ve got their instruments out, because they are PLAYING. You’ve been asked to bring yours. And it’s all on camera. Oh my God."
