This could be MASSIVE news...

I think Andy is just fishing. Stewart has a pretty hectic schedule already lined up next year. The revival of his Cask of Amontillado mini-opera in NYC in January. His next world premiere piece debuts in Pittsburgh in February. Ben Hur dates on the West Coast in March then Another Off the Score tour on the East Coast after that. But who knows. Never say never.

I would only be interested in another big tour if they would perform deep cut tracks that they didn't perform on the last tour, especially more stuff not just written by Sting (Fall Out, Nothing Achieving, Be My Girl Sally, Everyone Stares, Contact, Behind My Camel, Omega Men and Darkness are at the top of my list but I know that ain't gonna happen), or if they did shows of albums from beginning to end with b-sides.

What I want so much is new music. It's been more than 30 years. It's such a missed opportunity because when they get together it's a magical mix.

Too bad that money and publishing issues get in the way.

must admit that my heart jumped when I saw this... could we see something new in the coming months ?

It's been a very long time since I last posted...have been lurking without being able to login (password problems)
Nice to be back here !!

I'm not going to get my hopes up too much, but who knows? Andy told me and my brother about the impending Police reunion in October 2006 at the Chicago book signing, so maybe he is being the first to spill the beans this time too.

Another Police reunion would be awesome since I never got to see them, as a pre-teen or as an adult, but I won't hold my breath.
