Sacred Grove with Deborah Holland

Postby cillae on 01 Apr 2013 12:47

I discussed a bit with Deborah through his facebook page as Stewart , Stanley (Clarke) and she , met at a restaurant late march in Los Angeles, and I asked her if perhaps there would be a Sacred grove session. She did not deny it so perhaps there would be a brief ' reunion ' of Animal Logic ! Stay tuned .

Great news then...amazing!
I have talked to her a couple of weeks ago and asked her if she would be interested in an interview to be uploaded on StewartCopeland.net and she said ok, so now this news of yours comes at the perfect timing.

She also mentioned on Facebook last night that she and Stewart wrote two songs for "Wall Street" that were recorded but not used in the film.

Deborah has posted both songs to soundcloud. The mystery of the origins of "The Tall Weeds" track on the Wall Street soundtrack is solved. It is both unused songs joined together without Deborah's vocals. The first half of "The Tall Weeds" is derived from a song called "Home Sweet Home" https://soundcloud.com/deborahholland/h ... ah/s-0KZ0t and the second half comes from a song called "On Your Way to Heaven" https://soundcloud.com/deborahholland/o ... -s/s-O1g03.

Many thanks for that post. I always liked "The Tall Weeds" (and the rest of "Wall Street") and these tracks with Deborah deserve to be heard.
