Lengthy and after the first few standard questions really covers a lot of ground, stuff that isn't in every single other interview. Check it out!

nice. mike was the guy who interviewed SC in london at the college of music not long ago, the pictures are from then too.

nice mention of the story of his first kit too and "my Italian fan club, my only fan club, which happens to reside in Italy – it’s not like I have a German fan club!"

Paul McCartney.

Oh yes, he did call. Actually I didn’t play with him, I played with his bass player. So we spent the day in the studio. I think he only called me because it would be a good credit to have on his album. 'You should call that Copeland guy, he’s good'. I got in there, but immediately saw that I was so wrong for what he does.

*dies*

ETA: I posted the above before I read the whole mindboggling interview. Amazing. Just incredible. Thanks so much for digging this up, S.

I just continue to think: We're lucky to be his fans.

uhm... I guess I know something about it....

So do you collect?

No I have sons, they can collect! But actually he couldn’t take it, so my Italian fan club, my only fan club, which happens to reside in Italy – it’s not like I have a German fan club! – They went nuts for it and they’re taking it. I don’t know where it is, as we speak.
