But the question is...
WHY a movie about The Police??? They're not dead yet...
I wouldn't like it, but most of all, I wouldn't need it.

Hmmm.....I can't think of one current actor who could do Stewart justice-looks OR personality wise.
However, there have been 2 different customers at my PT outfitter job that made me look twice (and try to not stare and embarress myself, yikes!).
If they ever run thru again, I 'll try to get their names for the casting board,  (good luck!....)
I am sure to go to Andy's movie, and I would go to this one if it pans out.

I don't know what I think of this, except that I have a feeling it will never see the light of day. Just a hunch.

I'm with you Susan, I see no chance of this being any good.

Uninteresting for me.
I would rather like some A&M releases like Around The World, In The East, BBC apparences, concerts like Frejus, both Rockpalast, etc... all with extra bonus materials.

Yes, Olivier, I also would enjoy some of these other types of audio/video.

Sorry Olivier, but as of now, none of the shows you mentioned are on their way to be released.
There's something else instead in the can, but still no light at the end of the tunnel...that simply means 'no date of release scheduled'. No new material anyway.

The Police movie? This I'd like to see, but isn't the rule of thumb to make the movie after they die?

Could you tell us more Gio ?
The thing that would interest a lot of us are Craig's project about Deluxe edition of Outlandos d'Amour !

Good point Titi. Cute nickname btw ;) . My only concern would be an actor, director or writer not doing justice for our favorite band. One way to remedy this might be to have the real band mates have vast leeway in creative input. This may already be on the table, so pardon me if I've stated something already mentioned.

If something will be confirmed I will tell. I don't like to spread voices that might goes out to the press (remember we are always under the eyes of Reuters...)
