I will be sitting down to listen to this, I really wish there was some way I could record it, but I'm not techy enough to do that sorry

Well I got to hear most of it and wish i'd been there. I'll be looking out for the DVD.

Whether you love Sting as a solo artist or not it would be hard to deny that he always has pretty damn good vocalists working alongside him.

What did you think Halcyonlisa?

Did any nutters go to this concert?

It sounds good!

I don't like how it cuts off EBYT at the end, however. Pretty crappy engineering.

Thank you me dear.

I was just wondering if we'd be able to have another listen as I got a bad case of puppy interuptus in the middle of it and it's very hard to concentrate when your toes are getting chewed.

As far as I know it's possible for everyone to have a listen and not just UK. Laura?

That would be a yes and a no. It works if you take out the [/quote] part. So go back up to HalcyonLisa's original link and it works just fine. Very weird to be sitting here in Virginia listening to Sting singing in London...

i was at the gig...i think it was better than the night before (which i was also at).

i recorded the show as an mp3 by using this free piece-of-piss-to-use programme from here:

http://download.cnet.com/MP3-My-MP3-Rec ... ag=mncol;3

you literally just hit 'record', it's that easy... maybe have a little practice with the recording or master volume, but that's it.

Thanks, smax! I recall you helped me copy the Derangements "years" ago with some downloads and finagling.

smax, it may be because I'm in the US, but I've tried twice with volume up all the way, and it's recording the same thing: Boom Bip (with no audio). Is it possible the BBC has got some block on trying to record the concert?

I've tried to copy videos from BBC websites and it didn't work.

hmmm, dunno... i am clueless, but i woulda thought that recording software was just picking up what you were listening to , so i dont get how the bbc could be blocking it at all? and surely they'd want to block me too?

once the programme window is open, i did have to change the thing that says (bottom left) "Device", i had the option to change from one thing to another, some internal microphone to some stereo mix option. they were just there and it was the other thing i tried other than moving volume knobs around (had master and recording volumes at about 75).......
