Diversity, thy name is Stewart Copeland. The Police drummer/author/composer tells Spinner his satellite radio presets border on schizophrenic. "My buttons are tuned to death metal, bluegrass, hot Latin music, chill and I go to AM Radio for Rush Limbaugh and Christian talk shows, which I find absolutely riveting," he says. "I scare myself sometimes. One day I'm gonna get out of the car and rush into the house saying, 'Honey, I've got terrible news. I've been saved.' I just love the cadence of it and I'm kind of a Bible thumper. I'm a real student of the Bible, not that I'm religious at all."
As for Limbaugh, that's just part of Copeland's desire to stay open-minded and in the know. "Rush Limbaugh, I force myself to flip and spend equal times on MSNBC and Fox just because you go to the two extremes and man, it's unbelievable," he says. "They're not even arguing the same points or discussing the same events."
