An amazing video was posted a few days ago on the Virgin Radio website concerning an interview with Stewart filmed in Ravenna, Italy, in July.

Stewart Copeland likes to lie on camera. In 2004, on the bonus DVD for Orchestralli, he said music is a thing that exists, and we either listen to it or play it, and when we're all done we can discuss what it really means, which "is all bullshit anyway".

Any other time he talks meaning, he gives the reporter some variation of "music makes humans procreate". It is funny to see happen every time.

I guess he has a wider view on music, or maybe a different one, given the fact he is working on a major project with BBC on the meaning and importance of music. But in general, yes, artists may lie ... ahahahah!

More like he came up with a cool story to tell reporters, to make things sound more interesting than "I don't actually know".
