Sure, that seems very similar to what Stewart did with The Police derangements.
In Italy this is called MASH UP, mainly by the dj's; they combine more songs to make it a new and refreshed tuned.
Anyway, the first time I heard about such a way to re-work the songs was from Stewart himself back in 2002.

Yes, I think he was the first.
Also when Rollingstones came here to play, I saw Mick Jagger with a camera shouting all scenes and remind me this idea was from Stewart first. He made his film now...
KK make new rock & roll paradigms.
He is our magical genius.

Speaking of deranagements, here's one I've been working on taking some of Stewart's Spyro 2 music. I created it for meditating and relaxing. It's still a work in progress. I'm waiting for my cousin to send me some audio she recorded of raining falling on a copper pot to see how that sounds when I mix it in with this. Enjoy:

wow, sounds really interesting... can I have a copy too... if you'd like? I love Skaven music, maybe it's not exactly to relax and meditation, but works for me... I think this could be good too... thanks in advance!

double drat! my dialup connection timed out on me. i downloaded for about an hour, i thought at least a partial file would be on my comp, but no such luck. the only way i would be able to get it is if were broken up into smaller, digestible chunks...

I'm re-encoding it down to a 96 kbps file and will try to send that to you, Jedsoon.

Hey conroy, would you send me a link too? I'd like to hear what you've created from the game's music, or you can set up an account to acidplanet.com which is the perfect website for things like this.
