ANDY SUMMERS shocked by PERU (Promised a return)

Postby Jose on 20 Feb 2009 03:24

PERU loves THE POLICE! and Andy Summers... peruvian are hungry of news about the three blonds rock stars...

Andy Summers, who was in PERU last month like a simple tourist into a top secret trip....said he was really well impressed by peruvian marvellous Incas Citadelle "Machu Picchu" and promised to return to Peru with her wife and sons...

Andy stayed in Machu Picchu at "Inkaterra" Hotel... a sustainable hotel close to new 7 world wonder "Machu Picchu" ... this hotel and owner were the responsables of the launched of great CD Album "Inkaterra" by former peruvian 80's pop rock star and nowadays DJ Miki Gonzales who mixing traditional music of the andes and intrumentalist musicians of the Andean region with chilli out and house beats and trance music with an amazing result...that's the same CD I gave Stewart in Chile and some members of SC.Net have it too...also Andy Summers

"Inkaterra Hotel" Revealed some details of the peruvian trip of legendary guitarist Andy Summers memeber of THE POLICE and fomer member of bands like The Animals, Jon Lord, Robert Fripp and other big names of rock scene...

Andy stayed in the same luxury room that Cameron Diaz used into her recent visit.. Andy visited Peru with a familiar name of us... photographer Lawrence Impey, yeah the same friend of Stewart that shoted the first pics of our lovely band... Andy was really impressed by Peru and other amazing places of the Incas Culture, so he also make a trip to "Lake Titicaca" around 4,000 meters high from sea... "Lake Titicaca" was the most highest and largest lake of Planet Earth and has the significance that from this lake came the first Incas couple who governed the former Incas Empire.... Also Andy crossed Peru to Bolivia... I think for searching and following the route of richest Andean culture (focused in Peru and Bolivia)

He also taste top peruvian cuisine eating fish of lake of the Andes with tipical andean salad called "solterito" with organic andean vegetables and white regional cheese (all vegetables, seeds, fruits, and food products of Peru are organic) and spaguetti with rocotto sauce a type of hot incredible paprika chilli 8)

Thanks for the link Jose...that is a gorgeous hotel. No wonder Andy liked it there. He was there with LAWRENCE IMPEY...OMG! That is too kool.

Andy seems to have a fascination with places of majestic beauty like in the photos of the hotel. (ie Japanese gardens, ect)

How do you say "awesome" in Spanish, Jose? Because "muy bueno" seems pretty weak to describe this!

I looked into Inkaterra when we visited Aguas Calientes, but it's $$$$! Glad to hear Andy enjoyed it, though...
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Yeah "awesome" is the best word to describe "Machu Picchu"

Awesome means in spanish "Imponente" (grandiloquent?)

...Yeah Inkaterra is also a great beautiful place to rest and stay, surrounding by nature and natural reserve, including flowers, birds that Inkas respect and care also some bears called "Oso de anteojos" is a type of gray bear with panda, because "Oso de anteojos" has a different hair color (white) surrounding the shape of their eyes "Oso de anteojos" (Bear with glasses) the hotel have biologists, guides, and antropologists like a team for explaning their vistors the environment of the place that is so close to "Machu Picchu" ...yeah is an expensive Hotel for "Top People" 8) The Inkaterra CD was the result of the proyect to support and revalue Incas or Andean heritage in culture and music
