OT: Loss of a pet
Posted: 06 Feb 2009 03:12
Very OT but wanted to share with my Nutter friends.
I had to have one of my cats, Bop, put to sleep today.
While he had some medical issues for years, he got very lethargic in the last few days. Took him to the vet and they found a growth near his bladder that probably was cancer but even if it wasn't, there wasn't anything to do for the poor guy. So we had to end the ninth life today. I know it was the best for him but very sad.
Bop was an old cat, having been born in 1992 and part of my family for almost as long. Through many moves, good times and bad, he has been there, being cute and demanding.
So I say goodbye to my companion Bop the cat, 1992-2009. May you rest in peace my friend.
[And as I about to submit this, another cat keeps pressing the keepboard as if to say remember the living cats. (We have two others and a dog.)
And Merlin the Siames says to Nutterdom: w (the key he pressed)]
