Um, guys? No kidding - listen to the old KCRW interview

So, I was just piddling around with some audio software, trying to make it do my bidding, and I got it in my head to try to download Stewart's old KCRW interview so I could listen to it later in the car.
Turns out I can't download it and I'm going to have to record it the old-fashioned way, but what's important here is that it's a really good interview. It's ten years old but has aged well; Stewart provides this information, amongst other factoids:
* His kids are 5th generation musicians, but he doesn't really want them to get into the music business, for a few different reasons
* His grandmother was an opera singer (mezzo-soprano)
* His "daddy" (I love this) was from the Deep South and used to hang out playing jazz on riverboats
* "Daddy" was also a Republican but Stewart thinks he wouldn't recognize today's GOP
He's, um, also playing my record collection...Which really, really makes me wish he'd do another guest-DJ session like this one. (Aside from the fact I always enjoy the usual Copeland wit and banter, I'm insanely curious to know which current records he thinks we all ought to run out and buy!)
I would imagine he may yet get around to it, but I really enjoyed this, and I think you will too:

(I can probably email this via MP3 once I'm finished recording it, but I have a few other projects in the pipeline, so it could be a few days. I'll let you know once I've got it ready.)
